Quick post. . .

Well we survived the first leg.  Thought I would send a quick update while I have wifi at the Amsterdam airport.  I am not sure after this point when I will have internet to post again.
We left Toronto at 17:15 Canada time and landed in Holland at 6:15am Holland time.  With the 6 hour time change we essentially lost a nights sleep.  The girls did better then expected and slept for the last 3 hours of the flight.  The adults. . .not so much.  At 10:00 we board our 12 hour flight to Capetown so really hoping to get a nap or 2 in for all on the longest leg of our trip.  We will then be spending a quick nights rest at a guesthouse before catching our 9:30am flight from Capetown to Durban.  After picking up our super van we will be driving to our first stop 4 hours outside of the city.
Monday morning is our first meeting with our little boy!  Makes all the tiredness and travelling well worth it and gives us an extra dose of patience when things seem a little crazy.
We spend the rest of the week visiting with him and giving him as much of a chance as possible to get to know us before he comes into our care full time.
Thursday is our scheduled court day.  If integration week has gone well we will then make the drive back to Durban which will essentially be our home base for the trip as we wait on paperwork.
Highlights of this  post:
1. Our car seat got stuck in the xray scanner at the airport so the security lady had to get Adam to stick his arm in and pull it out. . .not sure that followed airport protocol.
2.  Z howled with laughter at both take off and landing of the airplane.  Oddly enough the only one on the plane  with that reaction. LOL

Off to catch our next flight!
