It is 11:00pm here and we have just arrived at the guesthouse.
Other then some bad body odour(not us!) and a small behavioural problem on one of our flights the trip has been amazingly uneventful.
Yes, they did search our hockey bag again coming into Ethiopia but we were smart enough to put all of D's stuff in it so we could honestly say it was for our use.
Our guide was waiting for us with a hug and some flowers(roses are cheap here).
He was also able to tell us that he was"pretty sure" that our visa was in Ethiopia.
I have now checked my e-mail and have the official word that D's Visa is in Ethiopia ready to go!!
The weeks plans are as follows:
Tuesday: visit D, shop for donations
Wednesday: visit D, visit D's twin's sisters grave site, shop for items to bring home
Thursday: pick up D from the orphanage to stay at the guesthouse with us for the rest of the stay
Friday: D's birth mom to come and meet with us for pictures and questions
Friday night at 11pm-HOME TIME!
